Geboren und aufgewachsen im beschaulichen Stuttgarter Vorort Warmbronn gelang dem damals erst 23-Jährigen nach seinem Studium an „American Institut of Music“ in Wien direkt der große Streich. Als Mitglied der deutsch-türkischen Band „Ünlü“ bringt er den Rock ins Morgenland und revolutioniert ihn nachhaltig. Der Hit „Estarabim“ residiert über 2 Monate auf Platz #1 der türkischen Single-Charts – es folgen europaweite Fernsehauftritte und etliche Tourneen durch Tausend und eine Nacht. „Ünlü“ zählt zu einer der einflussreichsten und populärsten Rockbands der Türkei. Heute ist er als gefragter Gitarrist, Produzent und Komponist tätig.
